Hello Definians,
It has been a month has passed since we started our Open Beta on November 29th. The team is always thankful to the community for providing feedback and suggestions during the Open Beta. We have collected valuable feedback from the community plus we have studied data from the replay battles and decided to adjust some skill elements to balance the game.
Additionally, the Mystic Chest Item Drop Rate sheet will be shared!
The new patch will be updated later this week. We will announce a specific update date and time through Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
Note: Defina will keep making balancing adjustments from collected feedback and battle analysis.
Balance Patch Notes of 1.0.9
Vrykos Tower Balance Notes:
The success rate on the weight on the rarity of the cards is reduced. In return, we have increased the weight of success rate on Hero Level, Hero Elements, and Faction Bonds.
Skill Element Adjustments:
Frost [Basic/Skill/Hyper]
Previous: Target loses 40% of its current HP if its total current health is 70% or higher than its total HP. Target recovers 25% of the 40% lost HP every round for 4 rounds.
New Update: Target loses 40% of its current HP if its total current health is 70% or higher than its total HP. Target recovers 25% of the 40% lost HP every round for 4 rounds. Element ignores Hero’s shield and penetrates directly to Target’s health.
Note: New clause is applied to avoid the elemental effect getting triggered twice in the first round.
Wind Totem [Passive]
Previous: When the hero’s speed is greater than 200….
New Update: When the hero’s speed is greater than [90+ (18 multiplied by the Hero’s level)]….
Breeze [Basic/Skill/Hyper]
Previous: 20% increased attack or healing effects if target’s speed is less than 120.
New Update: 20% increased attack or healing effects if the Hero’s speed is greater than [90+ (18 multiplied by the Hero’s level)]
Tornado [Basic/Skill/Hyper]
Previous: 20% increased chance of activating Hyper skill if the hero’s speed is greater than 200. This effect lasts until the end of the next round.
New Update: 20% increased chance of activating Hyper skill if the Hero’s speed is greater than [90+ (18 multiplied by the Hero’s level)]. This effect lasts until the end of the next round.
Procuring Shield Adjustments:
- Purchasing limit of 8H shields in the in-game store is decreased from 10 to 5.
- Shields will have a new and 50% increased drop rate that will be unrelated to the other item’s pool drop rate in the Mystic Chest. The duration of the shield given scales on the level of the Mystic Chest. Higher levels of Mystic Chest will have a higher drop rate of a longer duration shield.

Game Element Bug Fixes:
- [Earth Dominant] Hero Effect
Earth Dominant: “Earth Dominant” effect applies to heroes that only has earth elements (Main and Skill Elements). Earth dominants with a shield life steals 25% of the attack damage dealt to the target. - [Earth Elemental Bond] damage reduction bug fixed
- [Wind Pressure] damage bug on [Skill Effect] with 4 targets fixed.
New Features on 1.0.9 Patch:
Note: Base rate of Critical Damage is 150% multiplied by the Hero’s Attack/Heal attribute plus Hero Attack/Heal attribute.
New Element: Lightning Totem [Passive]
Lightning Totem [Passive]: If the critical point is greater than 1000, the exceeding critical point will be converted to critical damage at the ratio of 1 critical point = 0.2% critical damage.
Arena Leaderboard Special Profile Frame: Top 3 Arena Players will get a special profile picture frame that lasts for 15 days.
Regarding OKEx Heroes (Skin):
- Added Hero List View
- Added Profile Picture
- Added Dashboard Hero
OKEx Cervantes:
Passive Bonus: An OKEx Mark will be added to Cervantes’ target. This effect lasts until the end of the next round. Non-stackable.
OKEx Mark: Cervantes deals additional damage [5% of the enemy MAX HP] when she adds the OKEx Mark to the enemy. Enemy with an OKEx Mark will deal 10% less damage and 10% less heal effect.
OKEx Oda Nobunaga:
Passive Bonus: An OKEx Bless will be added to Oda Nobunaga depending on the number of targets on hit (1 enemy = 1 OKEx Bless). This effect lasts until the end of the next round; Stackable [Max 4 OKEx Bless]
OKEx Bless: 1 OKEx Bless is equal to 1 stack of 3% additional attack damage and 3% damage reduction.
Mystic Chest Drop Rate Sheet:
Starting Patch 1.0.9, the mystic chest drop rate will be changed (for the better) and will be revealed 🎉

Additionally, Level 3 Mystic Chests and above will now have 2 guaranteed drops, one of them being shields.
Note: The spreadsheet given here is not the current drop rates in the game (1.0.8)
General Logic:
- The higher level the Mystic Chest, the higher the better item drop rate and lower low-tier item drop rate.
- The higher level the Mystic Chest, the more number of items will be dropped from the Mystic Chests.
Check the spreadsheet for the balanced Mystic Chest Drop Rate. [This will be applied with the new patch update]
Additional Adjustments
Amethyst Mine:
- Full daily staked reward changed from 45 FINA to 40 FINA
- Added 80 mines
High Concentration Kyanite Mine:
- Full daily staked reward changed from 22.5FINA to 20 FINA
- Added 400 mines
Kyanite Mine:
- Full daily staked reward changed from 15 FINA to 13.333 FINA
- Added 480 mines
Low Concentration Mine:
- Full daily staked reward changed from 2.9 FINA to 6.
- Staked requirement changed from 30 FINA *1 to 60 FINA *2
- Full daily unstacked reward changed from 1.45 FINA to 2 FINA
- Reduced 9,200 available mines to 2,000 available mines
Tasks:
- Added 1 Vrykos Tower task to the daily task
- Added 1 Vrykos Tower task to the weekly task
Vrykos Tower Balance:
The success rate on the weight on the rarity of the cards is reduced. In return, we have increased the weight of success rate on Hero Level, Hero Elements, and Faction Bonds.
The reward is increased for Vryoko Tower but the success rate is more difficult. The expected return rate remains unchanged, the cost of the request is unchanged.
Elemental Bonds:
2 Fire Blessed :
Previous: Fire Blessed Heroes deal 15% more damage when attacking target(s) with less than 30% HP
Updated: Heroes with [Fire Blessed] the main element will have a 15% heal/attack bonus when attacking targets with less than 30% health.
4 Fire Blessed:
Previous: All allies deal 30% more damage to shielded enemies.
Updated: All heroes will receive a 15% attack/heal bonus.
4 Water Blessed:
Previous: Removes 1 debuff and adds a 10% heal when the hero is healed.
Updated: Any hero that falls below 50% of their max HP after an enemy attack will have their health restored 20% of their max HP and be given extra 20 energy. Each hero can only trigger once for the entire battle.
