Defina Bi-Weekly Report: August 16th -August 31st
August flew by with tons of fun and exciting activities within our Defina community. Our team would like to thank you all for your active participation!
We have been very busy behind the scenes as Defina’s project launch is getting closer. We would like to share some of the things we’ve accomplished during the past two weeks:
🎊Community Events
- On August 18th, we started a community writing contest that involves creating backstories for our heroes. The contest is still ongoing, so if you’d like to participate please refer to this article for contest details. We will host a second contest after we conclude the first one, so if you end up missing the initial one there’s another one coming right up!
- We’ve hosted an emoji contest on our Discord that ran from August 19th to August 26th. We will select 10 winners and give out the awards soon. Thank you for participating and presenting amazing designs!
- We concluded our mission event on August 24th and we’ve received around 600 participants. We will choose around 400 individuals from the pool who’d get access to our beta game in September. Further details will be announced soon.
- On August 27th, we sent out a letter to Harbingers users regarding the conclusion of our support for the game, as our team will be redeveloping Harbingers into our latest game, Defina, using blockchain technology. We published an open letter using Defina’s Medium account to welcome all of Harbingers’ players to join our Defina community.
🤝 Partnership
- On August 31st, we partnered with RioDefi with whom we will collaborate to optimize Defi and NFT protocols as well as Gamfi applications.
🔧Technology and Project Development
- We’ve finalized our game mechanics and selected the heroes who will appear on the first edition of our game
- On August 30th, we updated our whitepaper which now carries further details about Defina. You can read our updated whitepaper here.
- The beta version of our game and design is in progress and we’ve sent a few sneak peeks on our Discord channel.
