Hello Hugh, I’m so excited to ask you these questions as so many people are curious about you and your guild, NOBRAINER! Can you tell us who you are and what your guild is about?
Hugh: Hi TG, glad to be interviewed by you. No Brainer is from the Chinese community, I am the founder of the guild, which is formed by many gamefi players. Many of them are early participants of the blockchain market. No Brainer guild is a community that integrates project development, investment, learning, and playing to earn.
The guild strives to become a blockchain learning and exchange platform, incubating and discovering quality GameFi projects and providing a perfect training system to provide all guild members with opportunities to learn and earn while investing to win.
Love how you guys are so passionate about educating your members! What made you want to create your guild? And how did you find the other members?
Hugh: Before the guild was established we already had a very strong community, including high-end players of traditional games, top-notch talents in the field of blockchain technology, and friends who have been engaged in related publicity and planning work. When more and more people joined us through Defina and other chain game projects seeking game tips and information about new projects, we felt it was time to create a guild to bring more people into the family.
So awesome how you guys grew together 😊. So what made you guys invest and become so incredibly active in Defina?
Hugh: We have been following the Defina project since the beginning, and we watched the early promotional videos and participated in the game’s internal test. Defina’s beautiful graphics and rich gameplay attracted us deeply.
Our guild bought a large number of NFT cards at the beginning of the game. Although the FINA price has been hovering at the bottom of the whole crypto market, all players in our guild gained profit. And we made more friends in the game at the same time.
Glad to have you guys supporting us since the beginning 👌. It was so amazing to see you guys and the BigAce guild come together to lead the initiative for the Gate.io voting event! How did you guys team up and gather so many community members so quickly?
Hugh: Our guild has nearly 1000 accounts playing Defina, and when we learned that Gate.io launched this voting activity, our guild members all enthusiastically joined the activity. We spared no effort to promote Defina to other communities and called on other community members to use their own accounts to vote for Defina.
Among some players who did not hold FINA tokens, our guild held a fund-raising campaign, and the guild unified to airdrop the accounts. The number of airdrop tokens of our guild reached 120,000 FINA, which ensured the smooth holding of the campaign.
120k FINA?? Wow, your guild members are so loyal to the community that’s amazing! We appreciate your guys’ hard work and were stunned at what you guys accomplished. We’d love your advice moving forward too. What one or two things do you believe the Defina team should do to take Defina to the next level?
Hugh: The price of the game has suffered a huge loss since its launch, and I know that this is partly caused by the overall factors of the crypto market. For the suggestion, I think first of all we need to pay attention to the old players who are still playing Defina. They are the cornerstone of the project development; most of them have invested a lot of time and money in fina until now and have never returned their capital. The project should respect their statement and ensure the interests of the early players.
Secondly, it is time to launch more marketing activities for Defina, so that more people can join. After this new version upgrade, we hope that we can pay more attention to marketing work, and cooperate with the team to attract more players. If Defina has a good marketing plan, our guild is very willing to undertake further promotion and publicity work again.
Appreciate your input! There will be plenty of bullish events for the token price along with other plans such as partnerships, influencer deals, and mass marketing coming up in the few weeks as we get closer to Finaverse! Very curious, which Defina hero is your personal favorite? :)
Hugh: I personally like Hattori Hanzo(above) the most, because it always enables me to turn a defeat into a victory when I am at a disadvantage in the battle.
Nice, she’s one of my favorite characters too. Along with Elizabeth haha. Curious, what do you think are the top 3 traits you believe make a successful private investor?
Hugh: I think a successful private investor should firstly face the potential coins with value correctly and not follow the selling of chips when the market is panicking; secondly, insist on value investment, hold it for a long time and let time become a friend. Finally, dare to lay out when the market is low, not wait until everyone is crazy and then go after the high.
Very valuable advice to be patient, trade rationally, and not off emotions👍. What other games is your guild involved in?
Hugh: Our guild’s early involvement in the game Axie Infinity, Starshark and now playing only Defina. Other future ones include melaxy and other popular games.
Love it! What advice would you give to someone who wanted to run a successful guild like yours?
Hugh: To form a successful guild, the first thing is to be responsible for the guild members, improve the cognitive ability of the guild members, and let the members play and earn in various quality projects while becoming early participants in the project.
To create an environment for community members to learn and communicate, the guild should set up corresponding management, marketing, investment and research, and technical teams to create an environment for community members to learn, communicate, and lead people to find excellent resources and information for reference.
