March started with a geopolitical issue that shifted the entire world’s economic situation into extreme turbulence. Despite its sudden impact, the Defina team is determined and will continue to innovate, build and develop to attract players and guilds from various ecosystems to join and bring better benefits and gameplay experience to players. 😉
Since May 2021, Defina has developed different game modes and established strategic partnerships with many well-known blockchain projects. In the future, Defina will continue to explore the GameFi track with a long-term development vision with attachment to the importance of research and development of intriguing gameplay. This month, Defina released the concept and development goals of Finaverse and updated the game version to version 1.2.3. The Defina team welcomes feedback and suggestions from community players and participates in game design and promote the gameplay upgrade together.

Defina’s Next Chapter: Finaverse
On March 8th, Defina has opened a new chapter on the development path by releasing the initial concept of Finaverse. In lined with Defina’s vision to bring blockchain technology to the players for them to truly own their game assets, Defina will continue to develop new game functions, establish guild partnerships and attract new players from variety of ecosystems.
In order to achieve the goals above, the game team conducted in-depth within themselves and made discussions with community players. They have summarized several core elements for building the Finaverse ecosystem:
Metaverse:
An open world where players can own and build their exclusive territory.
Role-playing:
Each player should be able to fit in a role in the game and build the Finaverse together. Players can be what they want: landlords, builders, creators, adventurers, fighters, or material producers.
Low-Entry Barrier:
The barrier for entry in Finaverse should be open and low so that more players can join and try the game.
Social:
Players should be able to interact with other players and join guilds to create new things together.
Competitive Gameplay:
Players should be able to challenge each other and have fun with strategic battles.
Value Old Players While Welcoming New Players:
Ensure the value of the first version of NFT while lowering the entry barrier for new players for public participation to create Finaverse together.

Game Update Patch 1.2.3
On March 12, Defina completed the 1.2.3 game patch update. The update includes QoL updates, discounted Mystic Chest and Mystic Shards inclusion in [Auto-Mining], in-built game referral system, and Finaverse sneak peeks.
