Introducing Vrykos’ Tower Game Mode in Defina!

We have a new and interesting game mode to share with you. Vrykos’ Tower game mode will allow players to be able to complete bounty quests to earn in-game items and rewards.

This article will explain our Vrykos’ Tower mode gameplay, features, and rewards. This is still under beta testing, the official game mode launch may have some minor changes as we get feedback from the community.

We would like to thank our community for all the suggestions and support, we will continue to release new features and take in feedback, making Defina a game we can enjoy together.

Entry requirements

· Players will need a certain amount of $FINA to commence a quest

· Each quest requires a team of heroes in order to start.

Gameplay

1. Players will assign heroes to make a team in order to start a bounty quest. The task will show you how many heroes you need. Each quest will vary in time for completion and $FINA to start it. The success rate will be based on the team that gets dispatched and the difficulty of the quest.

2. The Bounty Quest is categorized into 10 difficulty levels which consist of levels from hardest to easiest starting at SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

Quests that have higher difficulty levels will require stronger heroes whereas easier quests will be able to use lower-level heroes.

Quests rewards will be divided into quest rewards and exploration bonuses that will each be calculated separated based on the success rate. The stronger the heroes deployed, the higher the success rate.

3. Players will need to spend $FINA to be able to start a quest. When the quest is finished, the rewards will be claimable if the task is successfully completed.

Note: If you failed the bounty, you will not receive the rewards and the entry fee is non-refundable.

Most of the quests’ basic rewards will cover the cost of $FINA that was required to start the quest.

There will be a small number of quests that grant minuscule basic rewards but will offer more bonuses in return. The image below is an example of a high-risk high-reward quest.

4. Every quest duration will be unique to that quest. As soon as you have completed your first quest you will be able to start another quest. (A hero can only be assigned to one team at a time). After you have completed a quest you will be able to refresh to find a new one. After the daily automatic refresh, players will be able to have unlimited manual refreshes but each time it will cost a certain amount of $FINA (0.5 FINA). The more refreshes you do per day the higher amount of chances you have of getting a higher-level quest with better rewards.

After a certain amount of refreshes, the refresh guarantee will be triggered causing a guaranteed higher-level quest with better rewards to be found.

5. Every player will start with one primary quest spot. A certain amount of $FINA will be required to unlock new permanent slots.

Each quest slot will automatically refresh 1 new quest per day. Every empty quest slot refreshes at 0:00 UTC, the in-progress quest will only refresh after the completion and reward collection of the quest. When players refresh manually it will take all the empty slots and provide them with a new quest. An empty slot is a slot that has finished its quest and has collected its reward.

6. Every time a player completes a quest, they will earn Exp that allows you to have a higher probability of finding a higher-level quest.

After reaching a certain bounty level, you will start to automatically lose a certain amount of bounty Exp daily. When Exp is insufficient, the bounty level will be reduced.

Notes

1. Quests and quest slots:

· Players could unlock new permanent quest slots with $FINA

· The number of quest slots determines the number of quests a player can perform at the same time.

2. Daily automatic refresh:

· Every day at 0:00 UTC the system will provide players with a corresponding number of new bounty quests based on the number of quest slots

· Ongoing and completed but rewards unclaimed quests will not be refreshed be automatically refreshed until completion and reward collection (each quest slot automatically refreshes once a day)

3. Manual refresh

· Manually refreshing bounty quests cost a certain amount of $Fina. Only completed and rewards claimed quests will be refreshed

· Players must claim rewards before they continue to refresh completed quests

4. Mining rewards

· We will be reducing the mining rewards by 25% since this game mode will provide more opportunities to earn $FINA

Questions You May Have

1. What happens if I complete all my quests?

When you complete all your quests you have two options. You can either wait for the daily reset at 0:00 UTC or you could spend $FINA and manual refresh which would give you more quests.

2. What happens if I fail a quest.

You will lose the $FINA that it cost to do the quest. That is why it is good to make sure you have strong enough heroes for the quest.

3. Do I need to redownload this game in order to get the update?

No, with the latest game launcher. The game will be updated and you only need to update it through the Chainge Launcher. Make sure you download the latest launcher here: https://defina.finance/game

4. Can I still mine while I am doing a quest?

Yes, you can still mine while doing a quest. You may use your heroes at the same time to complete quests and mine.
